The Metabody cd-rom resulted in part from a number of performance collaborations
with Stelarc, including Fractal Flesh, Ping Body and Parasite. Simulations of Ping Body
and Parasite can be found on the cd-rom, along with a video, text, interview and
photo archive of Stelarc's work. The Stelarc component comprises about half of the
cd-rom. Contributions from writers and software explorations of fictional and
historical human-machine interfaces complete the cd-rom.

Some components available on the cd-rom are simulated here, but for the full
bandwidth production get the cd-rom.

There are also a few reviews of the cd-rom.

Metabody was created by Gary Zebington during 1996-97 while he was a member of
the Merlin group, which ceased operating in 1997. A Windows abstract (i.e. a version
missing some components) of the original Mac version was released in 1999.
